The love of cooking and taking care of others has always been a passion of Chef Tricey. She started cooking very early creating her own unique dishes to feed her family. In high school she took culinary classes but hadn't yet made the decision to make this her career until later on in life. 

​

Through the years she continued to cook as a hobby picking up tips and tricks from family and loved ones along the way. Doing this helped her develop her skills and want to do more with them. Her favorite cooking partner was her mother in law Darounda "Dee" Nichols. With her they would go in the kitchen and make magic happen. And this is where her hobby turned into passion.

 

Dee and Tricey would spend hours in the kitchen together creating and talking about what they wanted to do with their talents in the kitchen. Unfortunately those dreams would never come true for them. Chef Tricey lose her partner to a hard fought battle with cancer in August 2017. But Chef Tricey was determined to make their dream come true in her honor.

Chef Tricey decided to go to culinary school and improve her technical skill level. She enrolled at The Art Institute of Philadelphia January 2018. While there she learned a lot and grew as a culinary expert. A year into her studies, the school shut down, Determined not to give up she decided to launch her own catering business Tricey's Tidbits. She started taking on several catering jobs which included weddings, parties, corporate events, church banquets and so much more.

Chef Tricey prides herself on giving her clients the best experience possible. She makes sure every meal is cooked with love. From hobby to passion and now career, Chef Tricey is ready to Elevate Your Event, One Dish at a Time!
